colors or starting completely from scratch, we can help you get what you
need to finish your room or use what you already have.
If you feel that you don’t have an eye for interior design or color, want your living room to look like a magazine cover, or – as is common - don’t have the time or inclination to do it the way you’d like but still want to achieve a certain look, ask us for a consultation. We’ll come to your home to discuss what furnishings and décor will work best or won’t work and find a solution that works.
Interior design is a reflection not just of your taste, but your life. Are you casual or formal? Do you have kids who spill, client dinners, dogs who track mud, people with allergies or sensitivity to light? Do you entertain in an elegant dining room with crystal and china or do you like to gather in the cozy sunroom? How you spend your time at home makes a difference in understanding which furnishings will work best for you.
Not all of our clients have large projects, or even buy anything new for their home. We can help rework one room; sometimes it’s just a matter of rearranging what you already have or making the area look more open. Sometimes it’s a matter of removing some things from an overcrowded room. Or perhaps you just want to start over with new furnishings or create a theme room emphasizing something you feel is attractive or meaningful, but are concerned about finding items that suit your budget. We can design for you and not stray outside your budget.
Perhaps you need a sofa that has just that right shade of plum that will make it coordinate perfectly with your new armchair, but you haven’t had any luck finding something that works. We can help you find the fabric, furniture, artwork, or window treatments that you’ve been looking for and have been unable to find.
Color isn’t as easy as it seems. How many times have you envisioned a certain look in your home, bought the paint, and been disappointed the room because you just spent money and effort on a room that doesn’t look anything like you imagined it would? Colors and textures can be tricky, and oftentimes don’t turn out as positively as you’d hoped. An interior designer can help you get what you want the first time.
The construction process can be confusing – oftentimes you just can’t quite visualize what the floor plan indicates or what the contractor intends - and having a designer help you with color selections, lighting, textures, surfaces and finishes can lessen your stress and give you the look you want. We can even help with furniture placement and space planning.

Fees:
Consultation: $150
(1 Hour)
Design Services for Theme Rooms: $500
(Total room concepts including color
and fabric suggestions, furniture placement, sketches, and floor plans.
Estimates and proposals are provided for production and installation of
theme rooms.)
Room Re-Design: $300
(We’ll re-do a room with what you already own, which generally
takes 4 to 5 hours and requires two people.)
