Victorian Kitchen Renovation - October 2009
In this project the homeowners wanted the kitchen to compliment the historic style of their 1866 Victorian home. We did so by choosing three different cabinet styles and finishes. Moving a radiator to another wall opened up space for a double oven and a window seat that doubles as a pet food center. Two old windows were replaced with one single window which now showcases a leaded glass piece. Under two layers of vinyl flooring, underlayment, glue and tar paper was the original maple floor which was restored. An adjacent ˝ bath an pantry was redesigned with beadboard and custom trim to tie the two rooms together. A custom table was made with a Carrera marble top suitable for the many baked goods that the homeowner makes.

2008 Hughes Kitchen Renovation
Although we kept the customers existing cabinets we transformed the outdated kitchen into a updated space that not only looks beautiful, but works well for their lifestyle. The floor plan didn’t change because we kept the original cabinets. New natural stone tile floor was installed throughout the Kitchen, adjacent bath and mud room. New solid surface countertops were installed with under mount sink. All new plumbing and lighting fixtures were done, including recessed lighting in ceiling and under mount lighting under cabinets. A fresh coat of paint and all new appliances brings this kitchen up to date.

Spec Home Kitchen
This spec home kitchen lacked anything interesting. We transformed it with new oak flooring with cherry inlays, granite counters, tumbled marble backsplash, stainless steel appliances, custom roman shade and new accessories.
